On March 25-26, “Russian Startup Tour - 2015" brought together aspiring entrepreneurs from St. Petersburg, Leningrad region, Murmansk, Apatity, Moscow and India. At the event, PetrSU was presented by head of sector for coordination of innovation and technology centers and small innovative enterprises K. Gostev and director of small innovative enterprise "GIS consulting" S. Zavyalov.

On the first day of the event the contestants were able to enhance their entrepreneurial knowledge and skills, and were then divided into five sectors reflecting the priorities of the Russian economy of innovation, and began to fight for a ticket to the upcoming conference “Startup Village” held annually in Skolkovo.

About forty startups presented their projects in five categories: "Information Technology", "Biological and Medical Technologies", "Energy efficient technologies", "Industrial Technologies and Materials" and "Innovation for the children." In four minutes, a team representative had to tell about the essence of the project and convince the experts that the idea will benefit investors and the society. The projects were evaluated by the competent jury consisting of successful entrepreneurs and employees of "Skolkovo". PetrSU’s project "Unmanned aircraft System of Protection from collisions with obstacles" was awarded a diploma in the nomination "Information Technology".
