The IT-park of Petrozavodsk State University hosted a meeting with representatives of "Mobile Telesystems", better known as the mobile operator "MTS".

The MTS delegation led by the Director of the Department, Director General of "Faktor Svyazi" Sergei Pradedov got acquainted with the activities of the IT-park of PetrSU. Head of innovation and production activities O.Derbeneva told the guests about the history of information technology, the priority areas of innovation, the most successful examples of commercialization of scientific and technical developments of PetrSU and cooperation with major foreign and Russian enterprises.

There was a seminar, in which the guests talked about future projects of "MTS", in particular, in the field of the "Internet of Things", and discussed the possibility of participation of PetrSU’s IT professionals in projects. During the talks with the rector of PetrSU A.Voronin it was agreed to develop cooperation in the near future and approve a joint action plan to include the development teams of the IT-park of PetrSU in the development projects of "Mobile TeleSystems".
