Ratings of Russian universities in the level of salaries of graduates working in IT were based on findings by Superjob research center that compared the average income of professionals who received diplomas of Russian universities in the period from 2009 to 2014.

The salaries of IT professionals living outside Moscow were adjusted, given the regional factors, to the level of the Moscow labor market. Thus, a Petrozavodsk State University graduate can apply to companies in Moscow and claim wages by an average of 63 000 rubles.
