The Rector of PetrSU A. Voronin said: "The Resource Center for Scientific and Technical Creativity of Students has been running for five months. This is a new project, and new challenges lie ahead for us. To operate the Resource Center, PetrSU formed a special environment that includes the Museum of entertaining science; "Ilmarinen", laboratory of research and design; and 2 laboratories equipped with high-tech equipment. There are classrooms for the project teams of pupils and students. Our main goal is for students to come to us, starting with elementary school, to take part in complex programs, which include vocational guidance: excursions, meetings with scientists, getting to know the university structure. We are developing at quite a good pace and are grateful to our partners, who shared their resources, technologies and methodologies with us".

"We have taken steps forward. I'm sure the work will continue, and Petrozavodsk State University and the Republic of Karelia will set a good example for other regions", said V. Kaganov summing up the meeting.
