The team from PetrSU with their Donor+1 project reached the semifinals at the competition for socially oriented projects among scholars and grantees.

The project is to be implemented jointly with Karelian Register of Marrow Donors and is aimed at the development of marrow cells donation through holding interregional events on attracting perspective donors (recruiting, promotion campaign, raising funds for organization of new events in the future). If the project wins the grant of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation, the event will take place in the regions of the Northwestern Federal District.

The aim of the competition for socially oriented projects is to support the initiatives of students and teachers who will receive scholarships and grants of the Foundation, which are allocated for actions towards achieving positive social changes.
