During ten days young programmers from 25 universities from 9 countries (Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Czech Republic, Romania, Sweden and USA) will seek the algorithms for content solutions and write code systems.

During ten days young programmers from 25 universities from 9 countries (Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Czech Republic, Romania, Sweden and USA) will seek the algorithms for content solutions and write code systems.

The young people are the participants of the International Training camp for competitive programming which will be held from 22.08.2016 to 01.09.2016 in Petrozavodsk State University.   

The main goal of the Training camp, that has already become a recognized PetrSU brand, is the preparation of the teams for the successful participation in the World Programming Championship.

PetrSU is represented by three strongest teams of the creative programming club of PetrSU trained by the PetrSu graduate Alexandr Fedulin.

On top of daily five-hour contests and analysis of the tasks the program of the camp includes cultural and sporting activities.

The tasks of various types and complexity are developed by the winners of the World Programming championships.

The winners of the training camp will be identified by the final rating of the highest number of tasks solved at a certain period of time.          

Reference: the training camps have been held since 1998. Starting from 2000, they have been held twice a year: in winter and in summer.  The participants of the training camps annually bring 5-7 medals out of 12 from the World Programming Championship out of over 8000 teams of 2000 universities out from 200 countries.
