International School and Seminar "Nanostructured Oxide Films and Coatings"
More than 60 scientists from different cities of Russia (Moscow, Voronezh, Vladivostok, Novocherkassk, Apatity, Orenburg, Pskov, Penza, Ivanovo, Petrozavodsk), and representatives of the Republic of Belarus and Sweden (distance participation) came to the educational and recreational center “Urozero” of PetrSU in order to summarize the scientific achievements of the communities in the field of nanostructured oxide films and coatings.
The scientific discussions revolved around the formation of oxide films with a unique self-organized porous or tubular structure and the method of surface treatment of materials - the method of plasma-electrolytic oxidation.
The program of the events included plenary sessions, overview lectures read by the leading scientists, oral reports presentations and poster sections ("Physical and chemical basis for the formation of nanostructured oxide films and coatings" and "Nanotechnologies on the basis of self-organized anode oxide structures"), thematic "round tables", the best scientific works contest among students, graduate students, and young scientists.
Based on the results of the school and the seminar, PetrSU plans to publish the proceedings, which will be included in the Russian Science Citation Index.
The organizers are the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development and Industry of the Republic of Karelia, Petrozavodsk State University and “Nelan-oxide Plus” Ltd.
