The IT-park of Petrozavodsk State University hosted a meeting and seminar with representatives of the Tver company “Total Interactive Technologies”. CEO Vitaly Tikhonov presented some the advanced developments in the design and production of virtual 3D simulators and attractions. “Total Interactive Technologies” is engaged in manufacturing 5D-cinema, virtual reality simulators, a full production cycle, provides a full range of services, from simulation design, and its production to commissioning and service.

Head of innovation and production activities O. Derbeneva introduced the guests to the main directions of strategic development of PetrSU, its educational and scientific resources, innovation and production of Technopark. During the tour, visitors saw the development of innovation centers of PetrSU: Innovation Center of energy-efficient construction, Cage culture, the Center for PetrSU-Metso Automation Systems, the Club of creative programmers. The leaders of "Nanoseti" and "BETa" K. Gostev and D. Kositsyn respectively showed the guests their high-tech products enterprises. Representatives of the company “Total Interactive Technologies” showed an interest to the prospects of the creation of the High Technology Park of Petrozavodsk State University and to co-operation, given the high competence of PetrSU specialists in programming and development of software and hardware systems.

At a meeting with the rector of PetrSU A. Voronin and Deputy Head of the Republic of Karelia M. Sokolov, the participants touched on the organization of further cooperation, clarifying mutual interests, the development of "road map" of their interaction. They discussed plans for PetrSU delegation"s visit to Tver to study the developmental and production facilities of “Total Interactive Technologies”.

The visit of the Tver company to Petrozavodsk State University was completed by a seminar with the participation of heads and leading experts of PetrSU IT-park and discussion on the prospects of cooperation in the field of robotics, biomedicine, virtual reality systems, joint programs for training engineers.
