At the factory “Petrozavodskmash” joint project with Petrozavodsk state university on creation of shipping packing container for worked-out fuel was successfully completed. 

In this year in the enterprise will be held work on other mew products. It was discussed at the meeting of the Head of Karelia with the Head of the factory “Petrozavodskmash”.

On 20 March took place the meeting of the Head of Karelia Alexandr Hudilainen with the Head of the factory “Petrozavodskmash” Evgenii Pakermanov.

Within 4 years the factory “Petrozavodskmash” is a part of state corporation «Rosatom» and is one of the biggest enterprises of its macine-building division.

At the meeting in the Government of Karelia, in which also took part deputy Head- Minister for economic development Valentin Chmil, Egenii Pakermanov reported on outcomes of last year work, plans of enterprise’s development and problems, faced by “Petrozavodskmash”, were discussed.

As Evgenii Pakermanov noted, last year was finished the process of the factory’s reconstruction, technological facilities of the enterprise changed. In 3 years corporation «Rosatom» invested in “Petrozavodskmash” 3 bln rubbles. As a result, more than a half of working area was reconstructed. Today Petrozavodsk mechanists specialize in production of equipment for nuclear field, oil-and-gas equipment and units for pulp-and-paper production.

In 2013 new location of production of high-pressure armature for nuclear power stations was opened at the factory.
